Our menu
Pizza, meatballs, a couple of subs, and a few salads. That’s it?! What gives?
Basically everything we serve is made by hand from scratch recipes: dough, sauces, meatballs, dressings, and baked goods. With a small staff and kitchen, our goal is to focus on doing a few things the best we can, instead of trying to have the biggest menu. It’s true that we don’t serve a lot of the deep-fried items you’re used to seeing on a pizza shop menu: fries, chicken fingers & wings, and mozzarella sticks. These items are usually pre-made, frozen, low quality, and probably not a satisfying meal. You’re not going to see a freezer or deep fryer at Garlic Breath.
Instead, we’re focusing on old-school, hand-tossed, New York-style pizza made with our artisan dough. High-hydration, long fermentation, and using local, fresh-milled grain means our dough is what you’d find in the best bread bakeries. All of our pizzas are baked in a high-tech, energy-efficient electric deck oven for maximum crisp and our ideal bake: a little well-done.
We’re also really into meatballs, so you’ll find ours are made from scratch from freshly ground prime beef and pork from Savenor’s Butcher Shop, one of Boston’s best. Have them on a sub roll covered in melty cheese or eat them on their own.
If you’re into greens, we do a couple of tasty salads, even if they’re really just excuses to eat our house-made dressings. If you’re one of those weirdos that dips your pizza bones (crust) in ranch, we make a good one.
Finally, save room for dessert because we bake large chocolate chunk cookies every morning and make our own whipped cream for tiramisu.
